This website (www.pregen.org) is created and maintained by Valerii Egorov. It describes the PRE-GEN specification, an open standard published under the Apache License 2.0, for information only. It is not legal, financial or professional advice.
The specification is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. The authors, contributors and operators of this site are not liable for any claim arising from the specification, the site or their use.
These terms may change; changes are posted here with a new date.
Privacy
This is a static site. It has no accounts, forms, analytics, tracking or advertising, and it sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
The site is hosted by Vercel, Inc., which keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, time) to operate the service. The lookup page sends the code you enter to the registry that issued it and shows the public answer.
Under the GDPR and the CCPA you may ask about, correct or delete personal data. Beyond hosting logs we hold none. Requests: contact.
The site is not directed at children under 13 (16 in the EU).
Names and marks
The “PRE-GEN” name and logo identify the protocol. Conforming implementations may use them to say so. Using them to imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, PRE-GEN or its author without permission is not allowed.

The specification describes a technical standard. It does not create or replace legal rights. Whether a use of a likeness, voice, brand or work is lawful depends on the law where you are.
